British Pie Awards

Every year since 2016 we have entered a variety of our fabulous homemade pies from the classic Steak and Ale Pie, 

all the way through to a Vegan Pie, coming back with multiple awards every year.

2019, we entered a pie into the 'sweet pie' category; an Apple

and Blackberry pie, winning a Bronze Award as well as many others for our selection of other pies.

All our pies are made with shortcrust pastry sides, bottom and top it really is a 'proper pie'. 


We pride ourselves on ensuring each pie meets our high standards packed with plenty of filling. 

Each pie is served with extra jug of rich reduction gravy, mash  and a fresh bowl of buttered vegetables.


2021 - We won Highly Commended and silver award for our Chicken, Egg and Pea pie.

We also won a bronze award for our Gluten free Steak and Ale Pie

We have featured in their magazine time and time again even won the Pub of the Season award for Autumn 2018.

We were recently announced as in the top 10% of restaurants listed world wide on Trip Advisor

and have received the certificate of excellence 2016 - 2021
